31 days until graduation.
I have a couple hopes for this website. This is a great place to showcase my work, of course; but I also hope to make it an online space where I process and document my first few years out of college. These past four years have been full — to say the least. As I make my exit from academia, I’m looking forward to a blog that captures the ebbs and flows of entering the infamous ‘real world’.
Just like the title says though, 31 days until I am degree-in-hand and summer-bound. Until then, I’ll be closing my last show at The Theatre School, giving a best man speech at my brother’s wedding, and performing a live showcase in Chicago at the end of the year.
Looking forward, these blog posts will house updates about my artistic and professional life, but they will also provide a time-stamped chronology of how my work continues to evolve in the exciting years ahead. In short, a glorified journal in an age post-blog. But… why not?
So with that, I look forward to seeing what emerges. Plenty more to come!
